In the Armadillo crystal series, designer Martti Rytkönen has flirted with the visual vocabulary of the 1950s in a way that suits homes of our current decade. The source of inspiration for the oval shape is somewhat unusual: the armadillo with its shell-shaped armour, which is optimally highlighted in the clear crystal.
